Is Your Laptop Not Charging? Fix It By Following These Tips

Your laptop might break down sometimes even when its charger is plugged in and it can be an extremely annoying situation. If it works fine with the charger then you wouldn’t have an issue but if it doesn’t charge even when plugged in, then you might have to do a few things to get it working again.
Check The Chargers Connection
The reason might be a fault with the wiring. First check if your batteries are firmly fitted in the battery compartment. Sometimes, the terminals get lose and the battery keeps on slipping form the apartment but it’s not noticeable until you take the batteries out and check the terminals to see if they’re lose or not. You should also check if the adaptor is working fine as sometimes it’s the adapter that goes rogue and gets broken down. Connect the adaptor with another device and see if it’s working or not. If you’ve checked all the hardware connections, and the situation remains the same, then move to the laptop’s drivers.
Update The Drivers
Sometimes, the only issue is the laptop using the wrong battery drivers. This happens often and if this is the case with your laptop then here is the fix. You can either update all your drivers yourself but that can be a long task if you need the laptop right away. There is driver updating software in the market that can update your drivers automatically.
If That Doesn’t Do It, Then It’s Probably The BIOS
The laptop’s input/output system is the one which links the laptop’s hardware to the operating system. It might not be working correctly. A faulty BIOS system needs to be fixed immediately as your laptop won’t work until it is fixed.
